Unlike standard mailing lists, auxiliary lists have been created to make a special subscriber selection and allow you to make a special communication with it or do a exportation.
The auxiliary mailing lists are populated automatically at creation time, there is two ways:
A/B Split method
This is a marketing technique, it will take the 40% of the target and split into two lists (and the rest in another “C” list), then you can send different email to A and B, take a look at the statistics, and use the best result with the another 60%.
It have an only one step: you can select one or more mailing lists and Knews will create and populate randomly the three lists:
Subscriber’s action method
Use the subscriber actions (opened, clicked, not opened, blocked and bounced) to create an auxiliary list
It takes two steps: on the first, you’ll select between one or more newsletter. On the second, it allow you to choose between user action and one (or more if there are) submission of the previous newsletters:
The auxiliary mailing lists works as a “photo finish”, there is, they won’t be populated with new subscriptors, (well, you can do it manually or via import) and can’t be used into subscription widget or form, but you can use it in admin side like any standard mailing list: to export and send newsletters.
